100 Club

We have a 100 Club which anyone is welcome to join. The cost is £1 per week and all the profits go straight into the band funds. It is a great money generator for in an easy and painless way! In the spirit of a community band, the money is normally saved to subside the costs of the foreign music tours.

It works like this...

Each member of the 100 club makes a weekly donation of £1 for each number they have in the monthly draw. This is collected by means of a monthly Standing Order of £4.34. Half of this is used for prizes and the other half goes into Band funds.

The monthly prize draw is:
1st Prize £60, 2nd Prize £30, 3rd Prize £22 and 4th Prize £16

The annual super prize draw (in December) is:
1st Prize £250, 2nd Prize £150, 3rd Prize £75, 4th Prize £40, 5th Prize £20, 6th Prize £10

So, the more members we have, the greater the prize fund!

The Werneth Concert Band cookbook features recipes from band members and friends. The cost is £3 and can be bought from the Secretary.

Details:

- The entry fee is £10 per team for the season.

- Half of the entry money goes straight to the band and half goes into the prize fund.

- There will be cash prizes for Manager Of The Month along with big prizes for first, second and third in the championship. There will also be a Cup competition with prizes for the champion and runner-up.

- We will follow the team lists, player stats and scoring of The Daily Telegraph. Fantasy Football scores are published every Wednesday.

Team Composition:

Teams must comprise of 11 players selected from the Player List below (and include a Goalkeeper, 4 Defenders, 3 Midfielders & 3 Strikers). There is no limit on the number of players you can select from any one Premiership club. You must keep the total cost within the £50m limit. You cannot select the same player twice.

Scoring points:

All players
+5 pts for scoring a goal (including FA Cup penalty shoot-outs)
+3 pts for a Key Contribution (playing a significant part in setting up a goal)
+3 pts for being named as the Man-of-the-Match by the Telegraph journalist at the game
+2 pts for appearing in the starting XI
+1 pt for appearing as a substitute

-5 pts for missing a penalty (including shoot-outs)
-3 pts for an own goal
-5 pts for being sent off
-2 pts for a booking

Goalkeepers and defenders only
+4 pts for a full match clean sheet
+2 pts for not conceding a goal during a part-appearance
+5 pts for a penalty save (goalkeepers only, including FA Cup penalty shoot-outs)
-1 pt for each goal conceded (not including shoot-outs)

Making Transfers:

• You will be able to make a maximum of 12 substitutions during the season. The transfer window will be open following our first update, which will be issued on Wednesday 18th October.
• All transfers will take effect from the day following their receipt.
• All transfers must clearly state which players are being transferred out of your team and which players are going in, complete with E-codes.
• All transfers must keep within the team rules (i.e. 433 formation, £50m limit etc).
• Transfers must be in a plain text format (no attachments) and all transfers must be emailed to us fanfoot433@aol.com. Any other transfer submissions will be invalid.
