Welcome to Werneth Concert Band Online
Werneth Concert Band is a community wind band based in Romiley, near Stockport, England. We play regularly at a range of venues across Greater Manchester and northwest England, plus undertaking frequent foreign tours. Our repertoire ranges from arrangements of classical music, wind and military band music, selections from films and musicals, to the light and popular. We have also commissioned pieces specially for the band. We rehearse weekly and accept players of reasonable ability. Find out more here.
We have started a youth band! We are inviting players aged under 18 to join in and make music together. You need to be Grade 2 or above. Please download our poster for more information. Feel free to pass the poster on to friends, or pin it up somewhere to advertise the band.

Appearing: Werneth Concert Band
Joint concert with Urmston Choral Society, Manchester Ladies Choir and Salford Community Choir. Joint items will include Zadok the Priest, I Was Glad and the Old Hundredth. This will be a truly spectacular musical event!
